DC Saturday
What a long but good day. I think no one will have trouble falling asleep tonight.
Some of the excitement the kids experienced was a few metro rides. The Lincoln, Jefferson, FDR Memorials. The Vietnam Wall, Washington Monument, WWII & Korean War Memorials. The Capitol Building and Library of Congress. We walked by the Supreme Court and saw the reflecting pool. We ate and shopped at Union Station. Then we had a Twilight Tour of DC. We dodged the rain this evening off and on but the daytime weather was excellent.
Time to sleep fast. Looks like massive rain on Sunday. Oh well at least we'll be inside for the most part. Just the getting to and fro could be wet. Nighty night!

DC Friday!
Today we had a fairly uneventful trip here! The hotel is nice, the pool is warm, and the kids are all having a good time.
We went and saw the Iwo Jima Memorial and had a nice twilight view of our nation's capital.
