The Honor Society Kids did a great job at the Soup Kitchen today!

Grading is just about caught up but we have found many students either due to absences, other activities, or just plain forgetfulness are missing assignments.  All work is posted in TeacherEase and I am hoping tonight with no assigned work except for 5/6 science worksheets that they can catch up tonight and I will send home complete progress reports tomorrow.  Thanks parents for the understanding.

Hi Gang! I hope everyone is recovering from our awesome ski trip yesterday.

Anyways, I have been looking at the A/R points and many of you are way behind.  I only have two students who are about half-way there and that is Jill & Bryce.  I hope that sometime this weekend you will all set aside some time to read.  We have about 3 weeks left in the marking period so we really need to get a move on.

Don't forget to bring your warm gear, snowpants, coat, hat, scarf, and gloves.  Sunglasses or goggles are another good idea if you have them.  I'd recommend longer thin socks so the boots aren't right against your skin.  Also, don't forget money for dinner on the way home or for lunch if you did not purchase a voucher.

We did finally take our reading quiz!  No other assignments today.  I am giving students lots of time to work on their Accelerated Math & Reading goals while enjoying some down time with Catholic Schools Week.  We did enjoy our trip to Dr. Slime today.  Thanks to Tonya H. & Lisa T. for coming along.

We'll probably see you Thursday! Enjoy the day off tomorrow if we indeed get the day off.

Catholic Schools Week At A Glance!

Note each day has a specific dress code! 

Sunday: 11:00 Mass 12:00 Potluck followed by Science Extravaganza.  Wear your Sunday best. :)

Monday: Mass with Bishop Cistone and visit at St. Thomas Aquinas ~ Khaki/White Navy Only Plain or SEACS sweatshirts with embroidered cross. 

Tuesday: Prayer for the missions.  Temple Theatre Visit Khaki & Red (SE Sweatshirts OK)

Wednesday: Prayer for Service.  Pajama Day we are asking for $5 per family for the Missions to participate in this.  Visits from Sr. Yvonne Mary and the MI Blood Program.  DEAR in the afternoon.  Bring your snuggies!

Thursday: Popcorn Prayer. Visit the nursing home/assisted living facility.  Lunch at Ponderosa.  Bowl-A-Thon.  Khaki/White Nayv All SE sweatshirts including sports sweatshirts are allowed.

Friday:  Living Rosary.  Jean Day. Pep Assembly in the afternoon. 

Saturday:  Boys Basketball Tournament.  Snowball Dance 6-8 ~ Casual Dress!

Snow Day Excitement

I hope everyone has enjoyed their bonus days off.  You know you only have 5 more days of school until your long awaited and well deserved Christmas break? 

Tomorrow is a jean day on the calendar, if you see this please do not wear jeans.  We have a free jean day on Friday instead.  We decided to go to mass on Wednesday instead of Friday this week since we have the Christmas Program on Friday night. 

Spread the word...no jean tomorrow!  Save them for FRIDAY!!
