When we have to study for Science, did you say we had to know Strontium 90 and 89 or Strontium 90 and 88? Thanks! <3

Jill - You have to know about the dangers of Strontium-90 and why it is hazardous to your health.

You will also have a question about the isotopes of strontium and using your periodic table decide which isotope will be more common according to it's atomic mass.

A good example was the Iodine question today on your worksheet. Let's say you have Iodine-124 and Iodine-127. The atomic mass of Iodine is 126.90447. So with the atomic number closer to 127 you can deduce that there are more isotopes of I-127 than I-124.

Hope this helps.
