Since last week was short and there were minimal assignments I will not be sending home regular progress reports until next Monday. I will however be sending home the initial reports from the Star Reading and Star Math testing the students took last week. With the diagnostic data I can see where students need remediation if necessary and we can begin to plug in some of the reading and math gaps.

hi mrs. p i have a question in math on problems 32-37 it says to write a variable expression to represent the phrase. so for 32 it says the product of 72 and a number. do i just do it like this 72 * x = or 72 * 5 = and do i write the answer to?

I'm sorry Makayla I didn't get back with you sooner. I got the alert earlier about your comment but got busy and forgot. You had it right the first way. 72x or 72*x but no equal sign - that would make it an equation and you want an expression. If you still need help I can help you in the morning.
